Resident Case Log System

All Ophthalmology programs are required to use the ACGME online Resident Case Log System for the operative experience of individual residents by CPT Code. This requirement was effective as of July 1, 2002. The Internet system, which is similar to that already developed by the ACGME for several other specialties, provides individual resident and program summary reports for quick and easy review. The key to this system is the mapping of CPT codes to the RRC procedures, which the Committee worked on for several years and was finalized in a greatly expanded version. A PDA version is available. A manual for users is available at the ACGME website www.acgme.org. For questions related to the resident case log system, please contact the ACGME Help Desk at 312-755-7464.
