Evaluations and Competencies
We want to bring to your attention a new posting to the home page for the RRC for Diagnostic Radiology, which is located on the ACGME web site (www.acme.org). Dr. Jordan Rosenblum, director of the U. of Chicago diagnostic radiology residency program, has agreed to share a presentation he made at the 2004 ACGME Education Conference. Dr. Rosenblum’s presentation is titled “Evaluations and the Competencies.” Over the last several years, the program has incorporated the 6 competencies into an evaluation tool that examines resident attainment of the competencies by training level and rotation content. We expect that this well-developed evaluation tool will be of interest and possible use to other residency programs. Dr. Rosenblum’s Powerpoint presentation is available here:
