Baretta R. Casey, M.D., M.P.H., is a professor & vice-chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and director of the UK Center for Excellence in Rural Health in Hazard, KY.
Dr. Casey earned her MD at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed her residency in family medicine at Trover Clinic Foundation-Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Program in Madisonville, KY.
She completed her MPH in Health Services Management from the University of Kentucky College of Public Health in 2006. She also serves on the National Residency Matching Program Board, as chair of the Governor's Kentucky Diabetes Research Board and is a member of the AMA's Council on Medical Education. |
