Rowen K. Zetterman, MD is an internist, gastroenterologist, and hepatologist and the Dean of the School of Medicine at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Prior to his role at Creighton, he was the Chief of Staff for the Nebraska-Western Iowa VA Health Care System and a Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). He was the Vice Chair for Clinical Operations in the Department of Internal Medicine at UNMC prior to becoming the VA Chief of Staff.
Dr. Zetterman has served in leadership positions as President of the American College of Gastroenterology, Chair of both the Board of Governors and the Board of Regents of the American College of Physicians (ACP), as President of the Metropolitan Omaha Medical Society and as President of the Nebraska Medical Association. He is currently an ACP Delegate to the American Medical Association (AMA) and Chair of the AMA Council on Legislation. |
