Nathan K. Blank, MD

Dr. Nathan Blank is a Board Certified Neurologist. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1966 and attended UCLA School of Medicine graduating in 1970. After an internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics, he became a neurology resident at the same institution. Prior to completion of his neurology training, Dr. Blank was inducted into the U.S. Navy and served as a staff neurologist at Boston Naval Hospital.


In 1991, he became Program Director of the Neurology Residency program and Vice Chair of the Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. During his tenure at that institution, he assumed the position of Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education and Affiliate Affairs. In 1997, he was appointed Associate Dean for Admissions at the merged institutions, MCP - Hahnemann School of Medicine.


Dr. Blank joined the Accreditation Field Staff of the ACGME in July, 1999 and has carried out site visits of more than 946 programs.
