		Susan N. Trimble, MD
			Dr. Susan Trimble is a board-certified ophthalmologist who attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago where she received her MD degree in 1966. She did her internship at the Denver General Hospital and then completed her residency in ophthalmology at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois. Until 1993 she was a member of the part-time faculty at the Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University, and was in private practice in Oak Park, Illinois.
		Dr. Trimble became a full-time faculty member at Loyola University in 1993 where she was a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a special interest in medical retina.
		Dr. Trimble joined the Accreditation Field Staff of the ACGME in January 1996. Since then she has conducted 1122 site visits.
		She resides in Barrington, Illinois.
