Faculty Development Workshop
“A Patient Safety Curriculum for Residents (GME)”
In conjunction with the 2005 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, the Department of Veterans Affairs National Center for Patient Safety, who created and are implementing GME curriculum, are offering a detailed faculty development workshop for teaching patient safety to residents. This is a version of the workshop they have used successfully around the US to prepare VA and University medical centers to meet some aspects of Systems Based Practice and Practice-Based Learning competencies.
