CHICAGO, February 12, 2010 –- Larry Sulton, PhD, has been appointed vice president of accreditation activities in the Department of Accreditation Committees at the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

Dr. Sulton, who previously served as senior executive director of nine of the 28 Review Committees, will work with the executive directors of all Review Committees to ensure that the ACGME provides optimal administrative support for the Review Committees. Before joining the ACGME, Dr. Sulton was vice president of quality systems at NovaCare Hospital Group. He has also served as a site surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
