ACGME Board approves requirement revisions
CHICAGO, July 8, 2009 –The Board of Directors of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education approved revisions to one set of program requirements and the Institutional Requirements at its summer Board meeting.
The Board approved:
- a focused revision to the Program Requirements for Ophthalmology.
- a minor revision to the Institutional Requirements.
The summer Board meeting was held June 15-16 at the ACGME headquarters in Chicago. The ACGME will hold its next Board of Directors meeting Sept. 14-15 in Chicago.
