Kate Hatlak, EdD

Kate Hatlak joined the ACGME in 2015 and is the Executive Director for the Review Committees for Medical Genetics and Genomics, Pathology, and Preventive Medicine at the ACGME. She was previously the Associate Executive Director of the Review Committees for Emergency Medicine, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiology, working especially closely with the interventional radiology community in the on-boarding of the new interventional radiology residency programs. Prior to that, she was an Accreditation Specialist at the University of Chicago Medicine, where she worked with six internal medicine fellowships and the internal medicine-pediatrics residency. Dr. Hatlak holds a Bachelor's degree in music and psychology from Lawrence University, and both a Master's degree in leadership for higher education and a Doctor of Education degree in educational leadership and management from Capella University.
