The Annual Educational Conference schedule is packed with intellectually and professionally stimulating, informative, inspiring presentations. But opportunities to find or elevate your Meaning in Medicine and enrich Compassion and Connections are available outside of sessions as well. You will certainly want to plan to visit the Exhibit Hall during the conference for many of those opportunities, including channels for networking, learning about innovative products and services for GME, and activities and events.

THE MARVIN R. DUNN WELCOMING RECEPTION
Help us kick start the full conference with friends and colleagues over drinks and appetizers in the Exhibit Hall (at the Marriott) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 27! Connect with attendees, chat with exhibitors, and explore the Exhibit Hall, then browse posters on topics in accreditation, education, assessment, physician well-being, diversity, the opioid crisis, and innovations in the clinical learning environment, and speak with their authors (who will also present orally at two sessions during the conference!). Need an updated professional headshot? A photographer will be set up during the reception in the ACGME Hub!

NEW! EXHIBIT HALL BOOKSTORE
Brand new this year is a bookstore in the Exhibit Hall, where you can purchase the titles writing by the Marvin R. Dunn Keynote and Closing Plenary speakers and possibly others! The bookstore will be open during the Exhibit Hall’s general hours throughout the conference.

DISCOVER THE DOC
Last year’s hugely successful Exhibit Hall scavenger hunt is back and updated! This year, three rounds per day will give attendees the chance to explore the Hall and win $100 gift cards from Amazon! Clues will be posted daily through the Conference Mobile App’s Activity Feed and on Twitter to help you locate fictional doctors from movies and TV hidden among the booths! Find one of that day’s doctor faces and win!

THE HUB
The ACGME Hub, also a new addition to the Exhibit Hall in 2019, is back, with additional ways to network and engage!

  • ACGME Consultations! Staff members from the Milestones team, and ACGME Senior Scholar for Well-Being Dr. Stuart Slavin will host consultations in the Hub. Take this unique opportunity to meet with and discuss questions or issues one-on-one with our staff!
  • Department Spotlights—The ACGME’s Office of Distance Learning and the Accreditation Field Representatives will be set up in the Hub to meet with attendees in person. Learn about their latest work and upcoming projects, ask questions, and more!
  • Recharge and Relax: Need to charge your device or meet up with a colleague? Come into the Hub, and relax in the lounge seating area that includes a charging station!

WHAT ELSE?
A few more special features are still in the works, and we’ll be excited to share them with you and see you there to experience them! Stay tuned!
