Dr. Leah Colucci completed her emergency medicine residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, followed by fellowships in emergency medical services and education scholarship. She is an assistant professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with strong interests in curriculum development.

Dr. Colucci has served on various ACGME committees, where she has found a passion for elevating and improving the standards of education for residents and fellows. Most recently, she previously served as the Vice Chair of the Council of Review Committee Residents and on the Back to Bedside Working and Advisory Group. She hopes to continue improving residents’ and fellows’ knowledge of the role of the ACGME and empowering them to make a difference at their institution on a local level.

Prior to her medical career, Dr. Colucci was a marine biologist. She loves spending her free time outdoors and traveling the world.
