Permanent complement increase requests must be submitted by the program and approved by the designated institutional official (DIO) by the posted agenda closing date to be reviewed at the next Review Committee meeting. See the “Upcoming Events” section abovefor dates and deadlines.

New specialty and subspecialty program applications require a site visit to be reviewed at a Review Committee meeting. Upon submission of a new program application, a site visit will be scheduled by ACGME Field Activities. After completion of the site visit, the resulting Site Visit Report must be received by the Review Committee staff by the posted agenda closing date for the applicable meeting. To account for this longer process, there are separate submission deadlines for new program applications. See below.
