This week's edition of the e-Communication includes the National Learning Community of Sponsoring Institutions meeting Call for Submissions; a feedback opportunity on the Milestones Guidebooks; a reminder about the Year-End Milestones reporting window opening; public and resident/fellow member nominations for a variety of Review Committees; and more.

These resources were compiled to support local efforts to improve resident, fellow, and faculty member well-being and help physicians in distress as part of the ACGME's commitment to promoting physican well-being.

2023 GME Institutional Coordinator Excellence Awardee Leslie Caulder, MSML, C-TAGME, is the director, education and training programs, in the GME office at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville.

Linda B. Andrews, MD joined the ACGME leadership team in February 2019 as the new Senior Vice President, Field Activities. We chatted with Dr. Andrews to learn more about her background and her vision for Field Activities at the ACGME.

A recent study published in JAMA Surgery revealed that “ACGME Milestone ratings of “graduating vascular surgeons may be predictive of those surgeons’ risk-adjusted patient outcomes in their early career following a common vascular operation.”

The ACGME welcomed attendees back to the first in-person Annual Educational Conference since 2020. Thursday featured multiple Full-Day Courses, tailored to specific roles and functions in GME, a networking event for coordinators, a reception for residents and fellows, the annual Marvin R. Dunn Welcoming Poster Reception and Exhibitor Kick-Off, and a celebratory dinner for awardees.
