Dr. Eli Khazoum is the rising Chief Resident for the internal medicine residency program at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields in Olympia Fields, Illinois. He attended the 2023 ACGME Annual Educational Conference in part to support his transition into the Chief Resident role. As a resident and first-time Annual Educational Conference attendee, we asked him to share his impressions.

The ACGME has released select session recordings from the 2026 Annual Educational Conference, held February 20-22 in San Diego, California. These videos are now available in the ACGME’s digital learning platform, Learn at ACGME.

The ACGME has announced its Request for Grant Proposals for the 2026-2028 cycle of Back to Bedside, an initiative designed to empower residents and fellows to lead and develop transformative and innovative projects to foster meaning and joy in their work by increasing connection with their patients.
