2023 Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Awardee Dr. Adriana K. Malone is the program director of the hematology-oncology fellowship program and Senior Associate Dean for GME at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.

Dr. Eli Khazoum is the rising Chief Resident for the internal medicine residency program at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields in Olympia Fields, Illinois. He attended the 2023 ACGME Annual Educational Conference in part to support his transition into the Chief Resident role. As a resident and first-time Annual Educational Conference attendee, we asked him to share his impressions.

2021 Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Awardee David A. Wininger, MD is the internal medicine residency program director at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He specializes in infectious disease.

2022 Debra L. Dooley GME Program Coordinator Excellence Awardee LaToya Wright currently serves as the institutional administrator at UT Southwestern Medical Center; she was program coordinator for diagnostic radiology, for which she is receiving this award. 

2022 Debra L. Dooley GME Program Coordinator Excellence Awardee Hemali Shah, C-TAGME, PACE works as the administrative director of graduate medical education for the department of surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
