The ACGME provides an update on recent efforts related to the Physician Well-Being initiative.

Rachel Ruderman, MD, MPH and her colleagues created a tool to help infertility patients undergoing numerous tests in different departments and even different institutions keep better record of their care, reducing frustration for both patients and physicians.

In the poster, Waging War Against Physician Burnout: Overcoming the Barriers of Military Medicine with Personalized Patient Care Boards, presented at the 2021 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, Dr. Jessika Weber and colleagues present their project that looked at how customized care boards in pediatric patient rooms are helping young patients.

2020 David C. Leach Awardee Daniel Leifer, MD is a dermatology resident at the University of Washington, and a board-certified pediatrician.

Kelli Corning is the Associate Director of the University of Washington’s internal medicine residency program. She has been actively involved in program coordinator activities throughout her career in GME and participated in the full Annual Educational Conference, and also presented at the pre-conference Coordinator Forum. Additionally, this year Ms. Corning was a recipient of the ACGME’s GME Program Coordinator Excellence Award, which she received at the conference.
