In an effort to increase the public’s understanding of ACGME responsibilities and graduate medical education (GME) overall, the ACGME has developed a general FAQ page to answer often asked questions and address common misconceptions.
While these FAQs are not necessarily a comprehensive illustration of GME, the ACGME hopes they provide clarity about how the ACGME fits into GME, other organizations and their roles, and a basic understanding of the GME framework, and that they serve as a resource for GME and the public.
