New ACGME Cloud Updates Launching April 13

April 6, 2026

As announced in the March 30 e-Communication, the next phase of ACGME Cloud will launch April 13 with a unified user experience and updates to ACGME Cloud | Analytics. The unified user experience streamlines navigation across ACGME Cloud products and the Accreditation Data System (ADS), and Phase 2 of ACGME Cloud | Analytics introduces new data to existing dashboards, entirely new dashboards, and new features. Please note that to facilitate the launch, ADS will be down between 5:00-7:00 a.m. Central on April 13.

The unified user experience includes three exciting components:

  1. Unified Navigation – See one consistent way to navigate across products. Provides easy access to favorites and recently viewed pages.
  2. App Switcher – Move seamlessly between products without breaking focus.
  3. Smart Search – Find what you need in ADS by typing, not clicking through menus. (Note: This feature will only be available to designated institutional officials, program directors, and institutional/program coordinators at the initial release.)

To learn more about the unified user experience, review this short video or take a look at this helpful article.

The upgrades to ACGME Cloud | Analytics will be found in three key areas: Explore Sponsoring Institution Data; Explore Program Data; and Analytics Explorer. These will include:

  1. New Data for Existing Dashboards – Adding multi-year and specialty-/subspecialty-specific data to the Surveys Dashboard.
  2. New Dashboards
    • Surveys-International – ACGME-I-accredited Sponsoring Institutions and programs with authorized access will now also be able to access their survey data in ACGME Cloud | Analytics.
    • Operational – Introduces high-level analytics capabilities with drill-down to Sponsoring Institution and program details, providing insights with a clear view of multiple key metrics across all sponsored programs.
    • Milestones – Enables viewing of resident/fellow Milestones trends across time with ability to compare views against program and specialty-specific milestones by competency.
  3. Enhancements to Analytics Explorer – Manage saved dashboards better, and with new options to delete, rename, update, and organize dashboards into projects.
