Kenechukwu Ojukwu (Project Leader) and Erica Fermon, the Back to Bedside project team from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) David Geffen School of Medicine/UCLA Medical Center, winners of this year’s “Shark Tank”-style competition at the 2024 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, held March 7-9 in Orlando, Florida.

During a Featured Plenary at #ACGME2023 entitled Preparing Learners to Care for Patients and Communities Experiencing Substance Use Disorder, Charlene M. Dewey, MD, MEd, FACP, Stephen Loyd, MD, and Jeanette Tetrault, MD, FACP, FASAM discussed their unique experiences in treating and creating learning environments for physicians and other care practitioners to treat substance use disorder (SUD).

2020 ACGME Debra L. Dooley GME Program Coordinator Excellence Awardee Diana Lynn Brucha, C-TAGME is the program manager for obstetrics and gynecology at UPMC Medical Education, UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Tiffany Moss, MBA is the ACGME’s Executive Director, Osteopathic Accreditation, overseeing the administration of and providing staff support to the Osteopathic Principles Committee and the Review Committee for Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. At the 2018 Annual Educational Conference she presented or co-presented three sessions. We asked her to share her experience and tell us about herself and her role at the conference.

Debra L. Dooley GME Program Coordinator Excellence Awardee Jennifer Wilson, BA, C-TAGME is the GME program administrator for family medicine at the University of Vermont (UVM) Medical Center. 

The medical malpractice insurance coverage for residents and fellows employed at Hahnemann University Hospital (HUH) between January 2018 and September 2019 has been extended from January 10, 2020 to February 10, 2020.
