The health and safety of attendees, exhibitors, and personnel is always the ACGME’s top priority. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect travel and large group gatherings, the ACGME has decided to host the 2022 Annual Educational Conference virtually. This decision aligns with organizational priorities and the ACGME’s continued commitment to protecting public health.
The ACGME is pleased to invite the graduate medical education (GME) community to the 2022 ACGME Annual Educational Conference. The all-virtual conference will take place March 30-April 1, 2022.
This conference’s theme, Meaning in Medicine: Rebuilding Connections, highlights the importance of coming together as a GME community to rebuild, restore, and reflect on what the past year has meant for health care and academic medicine. To effectively prepare for the future, connections between peers and colleagues are more important than ever.
The Annual Educational Conference offers a wide selection of stimulating content for first-time and seasoned attendees! Over 70 educational and interactive sessions will cover topics on ACGME accreditation and initiatives; diversity, equity, and inclusion; faculty and professional development; well-being; crisis management; assessment; and much more. Review the full conference schedule, with search capability and sorting by GME role, for more details.
Over three days, thousands of participants will engage and connect with colleagues from across GME, with opportunities for learning and networking. The ACGME’s signature learning event, the Annual Educational Conference features content and resources that appeal and apply to all roles in GME and all those passionate about education and collaboration.
