Leadership Skills Training Program for Chief Residents

The Leadership Skills Training Program for Chief Residents is designed to provide a transitional experience into the leadership role of chief resident. The course has been adapted into a virtual experience consisting of small-group breakout sessions that will provide chief residents with tools, skills, and learning opportunities that enhance their understanding of interpersonal communication and group dynamics and to prepare them for their new leadership role. The course is open to chief residents from all specialties. Each workshop includes 90-minute weekly sessions over seven weeks and is limited to 60 participants.

  • Registration Fee: $450
    Fee covers online assessments, handouts, and access to the course syllabus at the conclusion of the program.
  • Course begins Friday, May 7, with sessions held each Friday, 9-10:30 a.m. Central for seven weeks.
  • Registration deadline is April 5, 2021, but note that registration typically fills quickly. Chief residents are encouraged to register as early as possible.
