#ACGME2022 Day 1: Pre-Conference Round-Up

The 2022 ACGME Annual Educational Conference kicked off—appropriately, on National Doctors’ Day—with five pre-conferences, each tailored to a specific role in graduate medical education (GME). Despite the virtual setting, the pre-conferences featured community, connection, and deep collective learning.

Focused Connections: #ACGME2022 Pre-Conferences

The 2022 ACGME Annual Educational Conference will be a fully virtual experience for the second year in a row, including pre-conferences. While the conference will offer content in live, semi-live, and on-demand formats, the pre-conferences are almost entirely live, which presents a unique and exciting opportunity to connect and learn.

Dr. Jessika Weber and colleagues from San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium presented their project looking at how customized magnetic care boards in patient rooms on the pediatric floors help acclimate young patients to what can be a scary and intimidating situation at the 2021 ACGME Annual Educational Conference.
