At the 2021 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, Dr. Tina Simpson presented her team’s work in the poster, Implementing an Anti-Racism Workshop at an Academic University in the Deep South for Graduate Medical Education.

Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, based in Baltimore, Maryland, is recognized with the 2023 Barbara Ross-Lee, DO Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award. Dr. Laura Hanyok is Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical Education, a member of the Sponsoring Institution’s GME Office, and a member of the team whose initiative is being recognized with the award.

2022 Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Awardee Amit R.T. Joshi, MD, FACS is a professor of surgery and the associate dean for GME at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University Cooper University Healthcare in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Joshi is also the editor-in-chief of the Surgical Council on Resident Education (SCORE®). 

The recently announced Marvin R. Dunn Keynote Address and Closing Plenary will be delivered by dynamic, influential, and engaging leaders addressing topics of interest in GME and the world at large today.
