The ACGME is pleased to announce that its new ACGME Cloud platform will launch in 2025! This new digital platform represents a significant step forward in the ACGME’s ability to launch reimagined and modern technology products and services.

The ACGME has developed a process to allow accredited programs to request Program Emergency Categorization when planned resident/fellow experiences are disrupted due to a local epidemic/pandemic surge.

The NAM Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience has released a draft for a National Plan for health workforce well-being and is seeking public input. The plan is intended to provide a roadmap to drive collective action to improve the well-being of the health workforce.

ACGME Senior Scholar for Well-Being Dr. Stuart Slavin leads a group of well-being scholars in discussing the impacts of the Omicron Variant and ways to move forward in a new ACGME podcast, with video recording.  

Twenty-five individuals and two institutions were honored at the 2018 Annual Educational Conference. Timothy C. Flynn, MD, FACS, received the John C. Gienapp Distinguished Service Award. This is the first time in six years the award has been given.
