Andrew Neal Dentino, MD, FACP, AGSF, FGSA, FAAHPM, LFAPA

Dr. Andrew Dentino is an alumnus of the Icahn Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine/psychiatry and chief residency in psychiatry at West Virginia University, and his fellowship in geriatric medicine at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Dentino is actively board certified in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, hospice and palliative medicine, psychiatry, and geriatric psychiatry. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American Geriatrics Society, the Gerontologic Society of America, and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and is a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Dentino served as a member of the ACGME Review Committee for Internal Medicine from 2014-2020.

Dr. Dentino is the Chief Academic Officer for the non-profit Rio Grande Valley (Texas) Graduate Medical Education Consortium, whose mission and lens is to advance equity for this region’s underserved population through educational opportunities for its next generation of health care providers.
