The graduate medical education (GME) community will gather for the 2027 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, February 25-27, 2027, at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. #ACGME2027 will bring together educators, leaders, administrators, learners, and innovators from around the world for three days of learning, professional development, collaboration, and networking.
While educational sessions are at the heart of the conference, some of the most valuable experiences happen between sessions: reconnecting with colleagues, meeting someone who approaches a familiar challenge from a different perspective, exchanging ideas with peers, or starting a conversation that develops into an ongoing professional relationship.
Throughout the conference, attendees will have opportunities to connect with members of the GME community, exchange insights, and build relationships that continue well beyond the conference.
Make Connections everywhere. Whether you're catching up with longtime colleagues, or introducing yourself to someone new, take advantage of breaks and other informal moments throughout the conference to expand your professional network.
Explore the Exhibit Hall. Connect with exhibitors and discover resources, products, and services relevant to all roles in GME. Meet ACGME staff members in the ACGME Hub, and put a face to an email, get questions answered, and connect. Check out some of the fun activities planned in the Hall, such as Crochet and Connect.
Make connections over a meal. San Antonio offers plenty of opportunities to keep conversations going after conference activities conclude. The Henry B. González Convention Center is close to the River Walk and downtown restaurants, shops, outdoor spaces, and other attractions.
Engage with the international GME community. Attendees of the conference come from around the world, creating opportunities for conversation, collaboration, and new ideas across institutions and borders. The conference will also provide international attendees opportunities to interact with leaders and staff members from ACGME Global Services and ACGME International (ACGME-I).
Make networking part of your conference plan. Leave room in your schedule for spontaneous conversations. Introduce yourself to the person sitting next to you in a session, socialize at one of the planned receptions, connect with colleagues who share your interests, exchange contact details, and follow up with those you meet throughout the conference.
