Two areas where the GME community is seeking additional guidance and clarification from the ACGME are telemedicine and the ACGME Resident/Fellow and Faculty Surveys. Here we provide further explanation on these two topics.

Anita Akbar Ali, MD’s poster, Child Abuse Curriculum for Anesthesiology Residents, presented at the 2020 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, reports on the knowledge, attitude, confidence, and commitment residents had about reporting child abuse before and after participating in the curriculum.

2020 Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Awardee Abby Lyn Spencer, MD, MS, FACP is director for the internal medicine residency program at the Cleveland Clinic.

2020 Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Awardee Gabriella (Gabey) Gosman, MD is the chief medical officer for UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital and the associate designated institutional official (DIO) for UPMC Medical Education. She has previously served as the residency program director for obstetrics and gynecology at UPMC Medical Education in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
