ADS Annual Update Schedule and Changes

The Academic Year 2025-2026 ADS Annual Update will take place between July and September 2025, and Sponsoring Institutions and programs will receive an initial notification email at the beginning of the reporting timeframe noting all Annual Update requirements and respective deadlines. By July 1, each program's Annual Update timeframe will appear in ADS on the right-hand side of the screen under “Program” > “Important Dates.”

In keeping with the commitment to reduce burden on Sponsoring Institutions and programs, several reporting requirements have been removed. A notable change is removal of the faculty scholarly activity data collection, which has been replaced with two new questions about faculty scholarship.

Resources, including a 2025-2026 ADS Annual Update Overview, Summary of Changes, FAQs, and a Schedule by Specialty, are available in the Annual Update section of the ADS Help Center.

A National Longitudinal Study of Wellness Curricula in US Family Medicine Residency Programs and Association With Early Career Physician Burnout
Anastasia J. Coutinho, MD, MHS; Amanda K.H. Weidner, MPH; Peter F. Cronholm, MD, MSCE
