The ACGME and Arnold P. Gold Foundation DeWitt C. Baldwin, Jr. Award recognizes institutions with accredited residency/fellowship programs that are exemplary in fostering a respectful, supportive environment for medical education and the delivery of patient care, which leads to the personal and professional development of learners.

The ACGME, in partnership with other notable organizations, is proud to honor exceptional work in graduate medical education through joint awards.

Participate in User Acceptance Training as part of the ACGME Cloud rollout; participate in office hours held by Accreditation Field Activities staff members; and nominate someone to be a member of a Review or Recognition Committee.

As a resource to the graduate medical education community, the ACGME is sharing the following statement from the AOA regarding COVID-19.

The ACGME has updated its Procedures for Alleged Egregious Events to address how it will rapidly respond to alleged non-compliance with the four prevailing COVID-19 priority requirements, including the addition of a public sanction.

The ACGME recognizes and honors the extraordinary courage and commitment of those  working on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic to care for Americans in need, despite the toll it takes on their personal well-being.
