A page in the COVID-19 section of the ACGME website includes letters to the specialty communities from the ACGME Review Committees and their staff and leadership. Letters to the following communities are currently available:

NEW! JGME News
In the open access JGME article, "ACGME’s Early Adaptation to the COVID-19 Pandemic: Principles and Lessons Learned," ACGME President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas J. Nasca, MD, MACP outlines the framework for ACGME decision making during this national crisis, and provides early lessons learned, including the need for ongoing communication, trust, and goodwill in health care.

Milestones News

Updated Milestones Available
The Milestones and Supplemental Guides for the following specialties and subspecialties are now available on their specialty pages of the ACGME website. These documents were created by members of the respective communities.

Optional! Spring Reporting: April 20-June 26, 2020
Reporting of Milestones in the second window of this 2019-2020 academic year is optional for all residents/fellows who are not in their final year of education.

However, Milestone evaluations, using assessment data available, must be completed for residents/fellows in their final year of education, even if the Milestones are not reported to the ACGME. More information can be found on the Frequently Asked Questions page in the COVID-19 section of the ACGME website.
