THIS WEEK! ACGME Cloud, ADS, and Case Logs System Downtime Due to Academic Year Rollover
ACGME Cloud, Accreditation Data System (ADS), and the Case Log System will be unavailable beginning this Friday, June 26 from 11:59 p.m. Central until approximately 4:00 p.m. Central on Saturday, June 27 to convert to the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
After 4:00 p.m. Central on June 27, the ACGME's data systems will reflect Academic Year 2026-2027, and all residents and fellows will have an Unconfirmed status that programs will need to update.

NEW! ACGME Cloud | Analytics Survey
The latest updates to ACGME Cloud and ADS launched in April, including the new unified user experience and additions and enhancements to ACGME Cloud | Analytics. The ACGME Cloud team would like to gather feedback from users on their experience with navigation across ACGME Cloud products and ADS, data, and reports through a brief survey.

NEXT WEEK! ADS Annual Update Schedule
The ADS Annual Update for the 2026-2027 Academic Year timeframe will appear in Sponsoring Institutions' and programs' profiles in ADS, in the "Important Dates" column on the right-hand side, by July 1.
The Annual Update will be collected between July and September 2026, and Sponsoring Institutions and programs will receive an initial notification email at the beginning of the reporting window noting all Annual Update requirements and their respective deadlines.

NEW! Case Log Update for Pediatric Anesthesiology
The updated pediatric anesthesiology Case Logs take effect on July 1, 2026. Programs should review the 2026 Pediatric Anesthesiology Case Log Minimums document, available on the Documents and Resources page of the Anesthesiology section of the ACGME website, and ensure that fellows, faculty members, and program staff are aware of the updates.

Continuing Education Credit

Pediatric hospice and palliative medicine training pathways remain scarce in most low- and middle-income countries, especially across Latin America, limiting workforce growth and access to specialized pediatric palliative care. This article reports on a partnership implementing the first regionally grounded pediatric hospice and palliative medicine fellowship in Latin America, delivering a culturally responsive, ACGME International-aligned curriculum and demonstrating early feasibility and acceptability.
